This allows you to hone your skills without having to put out any money. No, online poker is not exactly the same as table poker but playing is playing.

When it comes down to it hard work is what you need if you want to take your poker skills from beginner to advance to professional level. If you do not want to work hard at becoming the best possible poker player you should simply compete for the fun of the game. But if you really want to be the best of the best, look into how you can practice on a regular basis. The more that you practice the better you will become. And then, sooner or later you will notice that you have moved to the top of the game.
